Elmer Page Turner, born 1890 in Wyoming; studied at the Art Institute of Chicago. Married I love McAfee. Excellent landscape artist in Taos, New Mexico; also worked in California. One contest painting made the cover of a major national news magazine. Became paralyzed with multiple sclerosis, likely related to poison gas during the war. Won first prize at the Arizona State Fair in 1932. Died in 1995.
